Award Ceremony: The Holberg Prize School Project
Announcement and Award Ceremony of the Holberg Prize School Project Winners and the Teacher Prize 2017.
Each year, twelve upper secondary schools, and more than 400 students from all over Norway participate in the Holberg Prize School Project. The students are assisted by university scholars and the projects are integrated into their regular curricula.
Three projects are awarded prizes of NOK 25,000, NOK 15,000 and NOK 10,000, respectively. A teacher’s prize of NOK 20,000 is also awarded to the teacher who presents the best pedagogical programme in connection with the school project. The Prizes are presented by the 2017 Holberg Laureate Onora O’Neill and Minister of Education and Research Torbjørn Røe Isaksen.
